The multi-layered BG and the rain effect was really well done! I liked how there were clearly different layered levels which blocked/allowed the rain effects.
Also I've never seen such a transition effect like the one you used in the main menu, specifically when starting a new game. It's really good. XD

I really don't know why, but I'm not managing to play your entry.
I downloaded it 3 times. None of them worked.
The game gets stuck on the load screen.
Maybe you should consider adding the deployed version with the single exe file?
The deployed version was used to create the exe.
Enigma virtual box
Some (mixed reports of which ones) anti virus detects this as false positive. It actually doesn't run on my own pc which it was made on.
But...
If you add the exe to your excluded list, it runs.
Well, I don't use anti-virus ^^''
As I said, the game window opened but got stuck on the loading screen. But I will try again tomorrow!
Not even the in-built windows security?
Anyways, ill upload a standard deployment version soon.
